Yr 9 and Yr 10 Film Studies

In term three we studied two films, the Yr 9's viewed 'Cool Runnings' and the Yr 10's viewed 'Rabbit Proof Fence'. Students were given the opportunity to view and then discuss characters, themes and the plot of each film. The Yr 9's unit was an Integrated unit with PE, Science and Maths all looking at different elements from the film, which ultimately resulted in students going to Rotorua to the luge (http://www.skyline.co.nz/rotorua/ssr_luge/).
